Privacy Policy

What we collect

Your account email, a securely hashed password, and the consumption records you choose to log (nicotine, caffeine, protein, calories and the optional details you add). We store basic session metadata (timestamps, IP, browser) to keep you signed in securely.

How we use it

To provide the service: storing your log, computing your analytics, and keeping your account secure. We do not sell your data, and we do not show ads inside the app.

AI summaries

When optional AI-polished insights are enabled, only anonymized numeric rollups (e.g. totals and percentage changes) are sent to the model provider. Your name, email, and free-text notes are never sent.

Your rights

You can export all of your data as JSON at any time, and delete your account with a full data wipe, both from Settings. One account is allowed per email.

Data retention & security

Data is stored in your account on Cloudflare infrastructure. Passwords are hashed with PBKDF2. API keys are stored only as salted hashes. Sessions are signed and expire after 30 days.

Children

Cadence is intended for users aged 16 and over.
